AUSTRALIAN RENEWABLE FUELS WEEK 2024
We were thrilled to bring Australian Renewable Fuels Week to Canberra!
Following an overwhelmingly successful inaugural event in 2023, Australian Renewable Fuels Week was be bigger and better as we showcased ways to accelerate decarbonisation of Australia’s hard to abate sectors.
The week celebrated another year of exciting developments in Sustainable Aviation Fuel, Renewable Liquid Fuels and Renewable Gas, as well as our Renewable Fuels Meets Parliament campaign, that saw us engage extensively with Members of Parliament and their advisors as we continue work to progress the bioeconomy in Australia.
The week began with Renewable Fuels Meets Parliament networking reception at Parliament House on March 18.
Then, we brought together industry leaders, developers, and decision makers to demonstrate that bioenergy is critical in Australia’s energy transition, with a two-day conference on March 19 and 20 at the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra.
- March 19 focused on Sustainable Aviation Fuel and Renewable Liquid Fuels, and how these are essential for decarbonisation of industries including Aviation, Marine, Construction, Agriculture, Heavy Road Transport, Rail and Mining.
- March 20 focused on Australia's feedstock opportunity and how we can maximise this resource, and the imperative need for domestic deployment of Renewable Gas to support industries reliant on gas for heat and manufacturing including food processing, manufacturing of building materials, pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing as well as supporting the decarbonisation of the wider gas network.
